Snowpack: Become Invisible (on Internet)
At Snowpack, we don't trust anyone! From there was born Snowpack, a 2021 spinoff from CEA, the French largest applied research center. We develop and operate the first ever invisibility network overlay, the Snowpack Network Overlay (SNO). Combining anonymization and security, SNO brings unique and long dreamed properties to cybersecurity. SNO makes you, your devices and data (really) invisible on Internet. As a true independence layer between the Internet infrastructure and your communications, SNO protects users seamlessly against any exploitation of network vulnerabilities.
Building on 4 years of R&D and 3 patents, our technology allows our customers to use public Internet networks to send their data in a fully anonymized and secured way. We transform IP Packets into snowflakes hidden in a gigantic Snowpack (hence the name) in our SNO. As a result, original users data in transit are really Invisible: Anonymized and fully Secured. They become - in practice - impossible to hack and track. Snowflakes do not carry any metadata (sender, receiver, protocol etc…) and even Snowpack does not know the route of your snowflakes in the SNO: contrary to other anonymization network, Snowpack is not a trusted third party. There is no trusted third party anymore.
Using Snowpack is simple: we provide connectors and an API, you define the security parameters. Your data is under your control, you are really independent and invisible.
