The Project Zero Alliance - 501(c)(3) - was founded to help first responders and veterans overcome the growing mental health issues that occur in the wake of selfless service. Our duty is to help our heroes heal by providing programs and growing their community of support.
OUR MISSION
Bridging the mental health gap to help first responders and veterans realize their resilience, find meaning, discover values, and live with intention.
OUR VISION
We are connecting the experiences and traits of first responders and military veterans to provide the greatest service and impact possible in training resilience, experiencing growth, and increasing wellbeing. We will create lasting change in the mental health space to end the stigma and increase support and resources available to all those who serve or have served so that we can end needless suffering.
THE PROBLEM WE ARE SOLVING
First Responders and Veterans share unique qualities. They also share the effects of facing exposure to devastation, life-threatening situations, and physical tolls -- essentially the worst of human experience. We lose too many of these heroes to suicide and even more to erosion of the quality of life by increased feelings of helplessness, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression.
BEHIND THE NAME
The Project Zero Alliance is more than a name, it is something of significance to us. We believe that taking on the issues of mental health and PTSD is a great undertaking and involves dedication to put in the work - it is a PROJECT that requires planning, training, and collaboration to end or ZERO out the stigma and eradicate the suffering with an ALLIANCE of first responder communities, veteran communities, and professionals.
