OutSmart is not a control system– it complements that function by providing detailed information about a store’s consumption that control systems can’t get. At a high level, OutSmart is a system for comprehensive and granular electrical monitoring, but the type of data we can get can not only provides a detailed itemization of energy to baseline and track performance, it is used to understand the performance of equipment and the efficacy of control systems at a detailed level. OutSmart’s competitive advantage stems from its specialized sensor technology, data extraction techniques, and analytics platform (OSAP) which enable unparalleled depth of information, ease of installation, low cost, flexibility and extensibility. OutSmart is located in Natick Massachusetts (15 miles West of Boston) and was founded in February 2008.
