About MindState

MINDSTATE® is a platform that operates Ideation Sprints within academic, business and tech- innovative environments. It uses design, tech and business students together with professionals from different cultures and perspectives to collaborate, engage and activate to resolve real problems both locally and globally.

Through a passion for cross-disciplinary collaborations, MindState was conceived by Tamar Many and Henk van Assen who were joined by Fernando Gómez-Baquero. With backgrounds in design, engineering and entrepreneurship they recognized the immense and often untapped value of bringing together a wide array of individuals to push the boundaries of design whilst exploring its impact on technology and business. MindState creates a space without discrimination, emphasizing that every voice is valuable, and all perspectives are necessary.

Ideation and solutions come from an open mindset that facilitates diverse thinking, multiple visions and a drive to bring positive, innovative change to the world around us. We are, simultaneously, pragmatic and conceptual in our approach. We deconstruct problems, turn them inside out in the process, force new ways of thinking and try to convince status quo-leaning organizations to think differently and change their state of mind.
