The Ryerson Engineering Student Society (RESS) represents over 4500 full-time undergraduate Engineering students at Ryerson University.
RESS is governed by a student-elected Board of Directors that consist of 8 Directors, 9 Executives, and 5 first year representatives.
RESS’ mandate is to provide quality programming throughout the year that allows Ryerson Engineering students an avenue for extracurricular involvements. RESS hosts various academic, social, charity, and athletic events and services through the year. From hosting Orientation Week to welcome new students to funding the Iron Ring Ceremony and everything in between!
RESS is a member of the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students (CFES) as well as theEngineering Student Societies’ Council of Ontario (ESSCO). These organizations represent the interests of engineering societies provincially and nationally. They provide engineering students from across the country the opportunity to have a unified voice.
