Every day, and in every zip code, Girl Scouts are experiencing exciting, life-changing opportunities. A nature walk that leads to a career in environmental science. A Girl Scout Thinking Day event that starts a lifelong love of travel. The first box of Girl Scout Cookies she sells that begins a desire to own her own business. At Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, we provide nearly 28,000 girls from 27 counties and many different backgrounds and beliefs with the resources to become tomorrow’s leaders. And all of this is made possible thanks to the dedication of more than 6,000 volunteers, 100 full-time staff, 20 board members and countless supporters, all believing in the power of girls.
