About Learning4Development
L4D advises and directly assists organisations and governments to foster better international development practice, better partnerships and stronger civil society organisations.
L4D was started by Belinda Lucas and Jo Thomson in 2013. Belinda and Jo had worked for many years as individual consultants but felt there was a better way to harness and share their collective expertise and that of their peers. L4D aims to be more than the sum of its individual practitioners.
L4D is a community of experienced and qualified development practitioners who share a passion for promoting learning opportunities for individuals and organisations working in international development.
