The Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) was opened by the 'Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism' in January 2008 under the jurisdiction of the 'Embassy of the Republic of Korea' London, the role of the Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) is to enhance friendship, amity and understanding between Korea and the UK through cultural and educational activities. The KCCUK provides opportunities to experience diverse aspects of Korean culture firsthand. Around the world 31 Korean Cultural Centers (KCC) are operated in 27 countries.
Since 2008, the Korean Cultural Centre UK (KCCUK) is dedicated to promoting friendship and understanding between Korea and the UK through Korea’s vibrant cultural scene to UK audiences. These include visual arts, performing arts, music and film, as well as education programmes that aims to deepen knowledge of Korean heritage, history and culture.
KCCUK’s 2017-2018 programme is dedicated to the Korea/UK season. During this year, KCCUK is collaborating with dozens of UK arts institutions and their partners in Korea to produce a diverse and exciting range of exhibitions, performing arts by Korean artists, for the enjoyment of audiences across the UK.
