About Hudson Valley Fisheries

Hudson Valley Fisheries (HVF), a 160,000 square foot indoor aquaculture facility in Hudson, New York, uses the latest recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) technology to raise nutrient-rich steelhead trout. With complete egg to plate transparency, the facility serves customers in the Northeast, offering delivery of head-on, gutted and filleted steelhead along with artisanal cold- and hot-smoked varieties. Steelhead is a species of salmonid native to cold-water tributaries in the Pacific.

HVF is Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified and rated Best Choice by the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch program. The company is the first aquaculture participant in the NY State Grown & Certified program.
