About First Act
First Act werd in 2004 opgericht als juridische en zakelijke thuishaven voor het Kamerorkest Arc-en-Ciel en van pianist-dirigent Tom Deneckere. Het heeft sindsdien ettelijke projecten op poten gezet, niet uitsluitend orkestprojecten maar ook kleinschaligere producties met musici van Arc-en-Ciel.
Bij First Act denken we na over de functie van muziek in de maatschappij en over de rol van de uitvoerder in de concertpraktijk. Deze gedachten worden gebald in de slagzin Fair Music.
