The present drift in lifestyle towards unconscious evolution gave birth to ECAS ~ ecological living. ECAS, an organization promoting ecological living with a vision to manifest an Environmentally Conscious Lifestyle.

ECAS believes that humanity shapes our environment at first place, rather than environment shaping our behavioural patterns. Human culture is a sign of our interaction with the physical world, which has changed rapidly over periods measured in decades or centuries. Being aware of our micro-cultures, such as our interaction with products around us, could bring positive impact to achieve an Environmentally Conscious Lifestyle.

ECAS, the name conveys a lot about the vision and purpose of the organization. The word ECAS is pronounced as ek-aas, which has origin from Devnagri script and is made from two syllables, which are ek + aas. Ek means one, whereas Aas means longing / desire / faith / shelter / refuge. Therefore, holistic translation of ECAS means ONENESS, which imparts a message of togetherness. The word ‘ECAS’ is simple, memorable, and could be spoken with an effortless exhale of breath.
