Direct Appliance Rentals was founded in 2008, with the vision to enable customers who would otherwise have difficulties accessing consumer finance to take advantage of new technologies and enjoy brand new household goods by leasing these items from DAR.
Direct Appliance Rentals is committed to helping low-income customers with or without a job. We want to help those who don’t have the necessary funds to buy essential new household products outright.
We also aim to continually support and strengthen the position of women in small business around Australia.

We have developed a 12-month RentPlus® program to show our commitment to helping low-income customers and families around Australia. We do this by using Centrepay or EziDebit. These customers don’t have the necessary funds to buy a new essential product outright. So rather than borrowing money or buying dodgy 2nd hand products that only last 3 months, we will work together to help supply brand-new items for our customers.
All of our products come with full manufacturers’ warranty and are brand new.
