Collage is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing personalized and innovative art programs for people living with cancer.
The American artist Georgia O’Keeffe said, “I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way…things I had no words for.”
Art is a universal language, able to transcend boundaries and transform lives. Cancer is a devastating disease, and for people living with cancer, art can be a powerful tool for self-expression and can provide relief from suffering.
Accomplished and dedicated artists work one-on-one with patients at the bedside, in waiting areas and in workshops. To date, over 8,000 patients and family members have participated in Collage programs.
Collage has established collaborations with MD Anderson Cancer Center In Houston, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in NYC.
Collage has established successful programs adapted to Covid restrictions that have allowed artists to work virtually with hospital patients.
