CleanCar is a tech solution that informs the transition decision from diesel/petrol to EV/PHEV’ usage. It has the unique ability to prove the user’s suitability to switch to electric and hybrid and highlights the cost benefits provided by both in making the change decision. CleanCar uses a small easy self-fit device placed by the user into the 12-volt power socket or USB port of their vehicle. A suitable representative period of regular driving that maps the regular delivery or service route, business meeting trip or commute (normally 5 – 10 days or longer as required) provides the real time data for analysis. The user then logs onto the CleanCar system to check their results. CleanCar’s dashboard style reports provides suitable rating for switchover to EV or PHEV (or not and provides the reasons why) plus based on the data analytics, will recommend which EV or PHEV vehicle specification and matching marques would suit the driver & journey pattern profile. Finally, the CleanCar report informs the fleet owner/user on useful data such as this specific EV/PHEV’s running costs compared to the users current vehicle/s.
