BreakOut – How far can you go?

In 36 hours. In teams oftwo. Without money. As far as possible. For a good cause.
BreakOut is a Charity-travel competition for the adventurous. Once a year, in Munich, Berlin and in 2017 also Barcelona, the participants in their 2-person teams converge for the start.
They then have 36 hours to travel as far away as possible, without spending a penny on transportation. The teams travel across Europe for a good cause on a donkey, bicycle, by foot, in a car, train or submarine. This concept follows the idea of a donation marathon: each team will collect donations from their respective sponsors per kilometer traveled. The organization behind BreakOut is a student group of 30 young people volunteering for the planning, organization and implementation of the BreakOut.
