ActivateWork is a nonprofit recruiting, training, and coaching firm that connects underrepresented talent to life-changing careers.

Denver is experiencing an historic tech talent shortage. Not only is there acute scarcity of talent, but the current workforce lacks diversity. Traditional recruiting methods tend to focus on sourcing candidates with technology degrees from four-year colleges. Yet nearly 40% of IT jobs can be done without a four-year degree.

We believe that talent is evenly distributed, but opportunity is not. Current hiring practices often eliminate highly qualified candidates from non-traditional populations.

We help employers solve talent gaps with qualified candidates from underrepresented communities. . Our proprietary behavioral screening process, rigorous skills training, and 12 months of on-the-job coaching prepare our learners to be valuable new hires. ActivateWork hires have a 12-month retention rate 36% higher than the industry average.
