Chukwuemeka Eze

Chukwuemeka B. Eze currently serves as the Executive Director of the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), the largest and most influential peacebuilding organization in the region. In this capacity, he provides strategic leadership and oversight for a network comprising 20 regional staff and 80 personnel across 15 national offices within ECOWAS member states. His role involves spearheading initiatives that promote peace, stability, and conflict prevention through innovative programs in dialogue, mediation, and political process management. Chukwuemeka’s expertise in atrocity and genocide prevention, early warning systems, conflict assessment, and gender-sensitive analysis is instrumental in shaping WANEP’s proactive approach to conflict mitigation.

Under his leadership, WANEP has successfully implemented key projects that foster regional cooperation, strengthen peacebuilding capacity, and enhance community resilience.
