Avery Fox serves as the Director of Safety and Health for the Southern California Division of Underground Construction Co., Inc., where he plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing comprehensive safety and health protocols across the pipeline, oil and gas, and utility construction sectors. With a robust academic background, including a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, as well as a Doctor of Education in Public Health, Avery brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his position. His dual focus on leadership and community health equips him to foster a culture of safety that prioritizes employee well-being and operational excellence.

In his current role, Avery is accountable for all aspects of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Program within the Southern California Division, overseeing risk management strategies that are critical to mitigating hazards in high-stakes construction environments. He leads a dedicated team of over 40 safety professionals, ensuring that rigorous safety training, hazard recognition, and behavior-based safety initiatives are effectively integrated into daily operations.
