I'm currently working as a Freelance iOS Developer and previously worked at Candyspace Media, Artfinder, and at Gear4 as an iOS Developer. I have strong interests in the development of everything from the applications core engineering up to the the all the visuals and eye candy, that users of Apple's iOS platform have come to love and anticipate.
I have over 9 years experience with Apple's Cocoa frameworks (spanning back to the era of Mac OS X Panther, or 10.3). One of my earliest products to be released was TuneBar, followed by File Actions. These were both Mac OS X Applications developed before the launch of the iPhone.
I'm also an alumnus of The School of Computer Science and Informatics at Cardiff University, where I was able to achieve and upper second class degree. At Cardiff, I took a strong interest into algorithms, operating systems and embedded systems (particularly in context to robotics).
My past experiences and tendencies to push myself to learn and try new ways of accomplishing problems that I encounter has provided me with a deep understanding of the entire software stack, ranging from programming "bare metal" in x86 assembly, to polishing the user experience and interface of both mobile phone apps and websites.
