In this role, Thomas contributes to company strategy and is responsible to drive execution across all lines of business and routes to market. This includes Malwarebytes consumer and retail segments, SMB and channel segments, OEM and business development activities and enterprises on a global basis. From August 2014 to Present (1 year 3 months) San Francisco Bay AreaExecutive Vice President, Worldwide Field Operations @ Thomas headed up worldwide field operations at Lastline. In this role, he provided leadership on company strategy, market positioning, operational processes, go-to-market strategy, and sales and revenue performance. From September 2013 to June 2014 (10 months) palo alto, caSVP, Sales @ Thomas was responsible for all sales and channel activity for Zscaler in North America. In this role, he drove planning, strategy and revenue performance across Zscaler's lines of business which include SMB, Enterprise and Service Providers. Before his role in the US, Thomas was executive vice president and general manager for the mid-market and enterprise business units at Trend Micro where he was responsible for driving global product strategy, business profitability, global operations, and solutions designed specifically to meet the needs of medium and large organizations. He also led the Trend Micro North American Sales organization as vice president and spearheaded eight consecutive quarters of growth and record performance.
Thomas has also held positions in sales and sales management at ActivCard, Infonet, and MCI, and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and business law from Syracuse University with international study at the Syracuse London Center, and continuing education at Harvard Business School, University of Michigan, Kellogg and MIT.
