Thierry Téné's most recent role at Afrique RSE as a Director of the Cabinet, concerned with Environmental Services. Thierry Téné's educational background:Thierry Téné, who was born in 1965, has been educated at the Université Lille I in France. After a degree in Political Science and International Relations, he joined the European Stability Mechanism in 1999 as a Junior Fellow. In 2002, he obtained his PhD in European Political Economy from the University of Oxford, UK. Afterwards, he was a Senior Lecturer at the London School of Economics and Political Science. From 2008 to 2017, he was a Researcher at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.Thierry Téné's research capabilities:Thierry Téné’s research capabilities lie at the forefront of his field, with a strong focus on macroeconomicpolicy and government finances. In particular, he has written extensively on the effects of fiscal policy on economic performance and on the structure of public finances. He is also a regular contributor to the Haut Comité de Macroeconomie, the professional body for economists working within the European Union.Thierry Téné is also a highly experienced teacher, having taught at the London School of Economics and Political Science and the European University Institute. In addition, he has also been a visiting lecturer at a number of universities, most notably at the University of Michigan in United States of America and the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
