Tari Weiss has been involved in over 20 years as a marketing and public relations specialist. She has worked as an account executive for FCB Global, Darryl Hamilton & Associates and The Heart Foundation. Most recently, she has been working as a marketing and public relations specialist at Raiya, a company founded by herself and her co-founder Bronte Bakes. Raiya is a company that provides Dessert as a Service, which builds on the idea of making food gifts for people who need them the most. They main function is to provide food choices to people in low-income countries who cannot afford to eat.Weiss has worked on several projects with Raiya, some of which have been reported in the media. For example, she was responsible for the lead marketing campaign for Raiya’s first product - a diabetes-proofed ice cream. Additionally, she was responsible for the development and launch of Raiya’s sauces and recipes. She was also involved in the development of Raiya’s social media platforms.Weiss has also been involved in a couple of Freedom Awards events. She was chair and advisory board member for Free the Slaves from January 2008 to January 2013, and she also served on the board of the Freedom Awards Foundation from January 1997 to January 2003.Overall, Weiss has worked in a number of different environments, and she has had a lot of experience working with people living in low-income countries. She is very excited to be working with Raiya and their team, and she feels that they provide a much needed solution to the challenges that people face in these regions.

Tari Weiss's educational background and work readiness began with her studies at Boston University where she received her Master of Science in Public Relations in September 1982. Weiss then proceeded to study at the University of Arizona where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications in September 1978. Weiss has since worked as a public relations professionals, starting with her current position as a Communications Specialist at the Boston University School of Communication. Weiss has been with the School of Communication for over nine years and has experience working in a wide variety of settings, including private businesses, state and local governments, and professional medical groups. Weiss is a highly experienced and credentialed public relations professional, and her work in the School of Communication has honed her skills inituall and dissemination of information.
