💼 Past Experience

Sweta Rai has had a wide-ranging corporate development experience in companies across a range of industries, from startups to venture capital and private equity. As Senior Manager Corporate Development at from October 2015 to June 2019, she was responsible for the Corporate Development work at the company, encompassing strategy, Ops and growth. Previous to this, she was an Investment Manager at from April 2013 to September 2015 in New Delhi Area, India, where she worked in the role of Investment Professional. Overall, Sweta Rai has over three years of corporate development experience to her name, which has given her a unique perspective on the ups and downs of corporate development.In her first few years in the corporate development field, Rai found that she was able to contribute a great deal to the success of her company. She was quickly able to develop a good working relationship with her colleagues and was able to provide valuable Immediate Driver Phase experience to her team. She was also able to bring her own experience in operations to the team, which helped them to better manage their time and resources. Rai was able to help her team to grow and improve their workflows, and to grow their business.In June 2019, Rai left her team at to take up a position at the company of her dreams – Startups + VCIndustry of Venture Capital & Private Equity. Sweta Rai’s new role will focus on Overall Corporate Development at the company, including Strategy, Ops and Growth, as well as working with the Investor Relations team. She will be working with a team of warriors who are passionate about their work, and with a goal of helping the company reach its potential.
