Stone Payton's education begins with a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of South Alabama in1981. After attending South Alabama for four years, Payton was selected to attend the University of South Carolina for a Master's degree in Marketing in 1986. In 1991, Payton obtained his doctorate in Marketing from the University of South Carolina.While attending the University of South Carolina, Payton served as the Marketing Coordinator for the school's athletic department. After leaving the University of South Carolina, Payton worked as a marketing consultant for Litton, Inc. from 1992 to 1994. From 1995 until 2001, Payton was the marketing and penetrative research manager for Fidelity Financial Corporation. During this time, he also served as the assistant vp research and analysis for Marketing for Fidelity Financial Corporation.In 2001, Payton joined the research and development unit of Park Brain Securities, Inc. He has been with Park Brain Securities, Inc. since 2001. In this role, Payton oversees all planning, strategizing, and sales activity for the company's research and development programs. This position was held in charge of the sales and marketing efforts for Being First, a company that provides training for small business owners.During his time with Being First, Stone was also a Trainer at Success Trainers from May 1990 to July 1992.
