Steven Levi spent four years at the Department of Psychology at The George Washington University. Upon his graduation in 2004, Levi entered into a post-doctoral fellowship in research at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. There, he worked on projects focused on the study of empathy and Conditional Choice Theory. After two years of research lead by Ursula K. Leitgeser, Levi returned to the Department of Psychology at GWU in 2007 and continued his graduate studies there.At GWU, Levi was a Research Scientist in the Research Group “ caregiver observations of elderly patients” and “The Interpersonal Relationship of Elderly Patients: Context and Effects of Employment and attendants”. He also served as the Chair ofworks in the Department of Psychology and as a Professor at the School of Guidance and Counseling. Levi has also been a Curator of the GWU Museum of Psychology since 2013.Steven Levi is an expert in research on empathy, conditional choice theory, and elder care. His research has focused on the study of elderly patients, who are often struggling with the challenges of dementia and poor physical health. Levi has been highly praised for his work on empathy and has been largely responsible for the current understanding of this topic.Levi has also made significant contributions to the field of developmentally-based Counseling and has been highly influential in the field of ageing research.
