As the founding partner of this national organization of roofing contractors with over 7500 employees doing over $1 Billion in roofing and building envelope revenue annually. NRP provides local roofing services to national and regional accounts and provides a format for sharing best business among it's partners. Starting with Treasurer/Sec in 2011 to Vice President 2012, First VP 2013 and President 2014 to finally Past President in 2015. It is an honor to be part of the leadership team of Industry leading association that has been setting the standards in roofing for over 60+ years. There have been many previous great leaders of MRCA before this appointment and I'm committed to making them proud of my efforts to walk in their shoes. From 2009 to 2014 (5 years) Director @ The Construction Industry Outreach Advisory Council (CIOAC) is a non–profit association committed to the promotion of diversity in the construction industry and to promoting our profession to the future workforce. CIOAC is composed of a diverse group of business leaders from the industry who have come together to strengthen the relationships between Minority, Women, Small Business Enterprises (MWSBEs) and other partners in order to achieve alignment on diversity issues in North Texas.
The CIOAC began as a group of leaders from the construction industry who came together to strengthen the relationships between Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprises, and other industry partners in order to achieve alignment on diversity issues and matters within the industry in North Texas.
We Are Committed To:

From January 2010 to December 2011 (2 years) Dallas/Fort Worth AreaDirector @ TEXO which means means "to build" was built from the successful merger of two great local Chapters of DFW AGC and ABC and is only the second time a merger of these national organizations has been achieved in the country (PHX is the other). TEXO has truly contributed to making the DFW contraction industry one of the finest in the country. From February 2009 to December 2011 (2 years 11 months) Dallas/Fort Worth AreaDirector @ As a board member of ABCNT and the chair of the Education Committee Steve served as an ABC representative board member of CEF.
CEF was created through an alliance of the members of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), North Texas Chapter, and Associated General Contractors (AGC), Dallas Chapter. Associated General Contractors (AGC), Fort Worth Chapter and The American Subcontractors Association (ASA), North Texas Chapter joined the partnership later in 1996. In January 2009, ABC and AGC joined forces and became TEXO Association.
The purpose of CEF is to provide the construction industry with the most qualified technically trained people, from Craft Workers to the Supervisory level. CEF also provides the entire construction community with a funding mechanism to meet the needs of contractors and owners. From 2006 to 2009 (3 years) Dallas/Fort Worth AreaBoard member @ Serve on the Board of Directors for Midwest Roofing Contractors. Current membership/marketing committee chair. Served on 2008 MRCA Annual Meeting committee. Relected to the board November 2008 for additional 3 year term. From November 2005 to November 2008 (3 years 1 month) Board Director @ Served as a member of the Board of Directors for 3 years.
