While at the University of Michigan, Glenn also served as Director of the Urban Studies Research Institute. He is currently the Associate Director of the University of Michigan's Center for Urban Research. Glenn's work focuses on the interface between city planning and public health and safety, and he has written extensively on this topic. He has also published edited books on the subject.
