🎓 Education

Steve Gereb has a B.S. degree from Saint Mary's College of California, with a Historymajor and a Liberal Arts major. Prior to that, Steve spent four years in college preparatory and Liberal Arts classes at Live Oak High School. Steve's professional experience starts out with a position as a teacher at Anoka-Hennepin High School in Minneapolis, MN from 1993 to 1995. There, he taught history,World history, undergraduate courses in humanities and mathematics, and Advanced Placement courses in history, mathematics, and economics. From there, he moved on to become a full-time professor at Sherman-Chrysler College in Atlanta, GA from 2008 to 2011. There, he teaches advanced Placement history and economics, as well as undergraduate courses in history, economics, and political science. Steve is currently a tenured professor at the college, with impending six-year tenure.Most recently, Steve has been involved in a number of professional Consulting and Teaching engagements. First, from 2014-2020, he was the interim dean of instruction for the Carlson School of Education at Border State University. From there, he was moved to the position of full-time dean in 2020.
