💼 Past Experience

When Stefan Peetroons turned 25, he decided to follow his dreams and pursue a career in management consulting. He first landed his foot in the door of management consulting through heading up a startup accelerator in the early 1990s. From there, Stefan Divelled his way up through the ranks, carving out a successful career in a wide array of industries. In his current role of Partner at AltoPartners | Global Alliance of Executive Search Firms, Stefan is responsible for building and Iconostars’ Trusted Executive Search Practice, which11 partners with top companies across 12 countries. He also heads up the organization’s Board and Executive Advisory Board, Advisory Committee on Human Resources and the Advisory Committee on Learning and Development. Previously, he was a Founding Partner at Accord Group Belgium and a member of the Board of Directors at Valpeo. As a Leader Advisor, Stefan provides non-executive leadership and training to Boards and Senior Management teams at his clients’ companies. He is also Principal Investigator for the ‘Directorate-Structure: Promoting Creativity through Accountability’ strategy report in the European Union. In addition, he is a regular commentator on management consultant issues and is a speaker on different executive search trends. Stefan Peetroons is a resident scholar at the Academy of Management School, Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and a visiting senior fellow at the Harvard Business School, Cambridge, MA.

Stefan Peetroons's education has prepared him for a successful career in professional coaching. Peetroons has studied at NCOI Opleidingen, where he graduated in January 2005. There, Peetroons received the Certified Executive Career coach certification from Career Coach Institute in January 2020. After completing his studies at Vlerick Business School in January 2006 and at Antwerp Management School in January 2007, Peetroons completed his Master of Science in January 1997 at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. This training program prepared him for a successful career in professional coaching.
