Sunland is a privately held company with assets of over US$7 billion, including land, buildings and investments in over 180 countries.Soheil has held a number of executive positions at Sunland, most recently as Executive Chairman and Founder. He is currently a Hononery Professor at Bond University and a Research Fellow at Griffith University. Soheil also chairs the Board of Directors for Sunland Foundation, which provides support to community organisations, businesses and public figures in the real estate industry.Sunland Group has been involved in many high-level transactions, both in the private and public sectors. In 2005, Sunland completed the sale of the Glasgow City Council housing estate to Scottish Hydro for £325 million. The transaction was the largest single sale of real estate in Scottish history. In 2007 Sunland completed the sale of the Carrington Estate in Manchester to university services company Manchester United plc for £275 million. In 2009, Sunland sold the Hinton Park Estate in London to Slade & Gordon Real Estate Ltd for £265 million.Sunland has also been involved in a wide variety of actions to improve the quality of life for people in the real estate industry. In 2006 Sunland committed to building 3,000 units of affordable housing in New York City. In 2009, Sunland undertook a 10-year project to increase the density of single-family homes in New York City by 50%.
