Research Associate @ I am exploring how to capture efficiently data causality in "Big Data" systems and what we can do with this information. I am working on extending Hadoop to track and query fined grained lineage of records as they flow through workflows. This information can be used to debug computations and possibly enhance future ones. I am also interested in energy efficient computing and technologies for emerging markets. Previously, I have done some work on machine learning and predicting movement patterns.
