Born and raised in the Dallas area, Shelly held numerous roles in the Personnel Department at AHCduring her four years of experience there. In 2000-2004, Shelly was a Vice President, Talent Acquisition at AT&T where she managed the sourcing, selection, and hiring of talent. She also worked with the hiring managers at 45 different companies in order to fill multiple concurrent executive-levelRequisitions. During her time at Lincoln Property Company, Shelly was responsible for the operations of the Dallas/Fort Worth Branch and was also responsible for the overall recruitment and staffing process. In February of 2016, Shelly started her own Talent Acquisition function at Neovia Logistics in Dallas/Fort Worth Area. There, Shelly quickly grew the function from one recruiter to six professionals, successfully sourcing and recruiting candidates to fill over 200 domestic vacancies and an additional 600 worldwide. She was also successful in building and executing creative recruiting initiatives, such as the creation of the company’s first diversity & inclusion initiatives. Finished their $4M project successfully and brought changes to the company’s HRIS which has saved them $5M in annual revenue. Neovia is also currently working on a three-year roadmap to build a Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise which helpedruits the sourcing, selection, and hiring of talent at all levels of the organization. Additionally, Shelly produced $5M in annual savings through rationalizing and eliminating agreements with external search agencies. Lastly, Shelly improved the company’s recruitment website and collateral, bringing more candidates to the job board. In February of 2019, Shelly was appointed Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Neovia Logistics in Dallas/Fort Worth Area. There Shelly continued her successful path of building and maintaining a Talent Acquisition function which now employs six professionals and oversees talent acquisition on a global scale.
