💼 Past Experience

I joined the Executive Director position at the Maryland Addiction Recovery Center (MARCIndustry of Mental Health Care) in October 2008. I was responsible for all operations, including day-to-day operations, scheduling, budgeting, and gift giving. I was also a member of the Financial Oversight Committee and the Governance Committee. I previously served as the Director of Operations at Caron’s Renaissance Institute from August 2013 to October 2008. Prior to that, I was a Deputy Director of Operations at the similarly named institution from 2006 to 2013. In my time at MARCIndustry of Mental Health Care I have conducted research on and published articles on the role of mental health services in addiction recovery and work-related stress.

- M.A. in Business Administration- B.A. in Political Science- instability in personal and professional life caused Sam ICADC to leave affiliation with IUB and rejoin the IU Bloomington communitySam ICADC has a B.A. from the University of Arkansas in Political Science and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Indiana University Bloomington. Sam ICADC was afflicted with personal instability and was unable to complete his studies at IUB because of it.Therefore, he re-joined the IU Bloomington community and completed his education in order to land a job as an Advisor at an organization. However, this stability in his personal life did not last long as he attempted to re-major in a different area of study and soon lost trust in his programs and the people he surrounded himself with. Consequently, he resigned his position and returned to his major field of study.Since his return to his major, Sam ICADC hasinghamdeedly found many discrepancies in professional organizations and lifestyle that have led him to believe that he is not ready for his next role. Consequently, he is currently working on a first step in becoming a Mentor for an organization. Sam ICADC has also shown an interest in creating and implementing systems that evaluate the effectiveness of organizations, which is a new career field that he is exploring and researching.
