A year ago, I was a Senior Manager: Talent Services at WALMART in Arkansas. At that time, I had a dog named Brownie and a job to do.Since I had a passion for simplifying HR processes, empowering leaders to lead, I was excited to work at WALMART. I was a Senior Manager: Talent Services in Bentonville, Arkansas from February 2007 to November 2007 (10 months). At WALMART, I was in charge of providing HR generalist support to a variety of areas, including corporate operations, pharmacy, and marketing. I was also responsible for leading teams in providing recruitment and talent enhancement services to 1,700-plus stores. I was a part of the team that facilitated 25% reduction in time to fill and year-to-date total of $1,200,000 in savings in Headhunting and Search Fees. I was also responsible for leading teams of seven recruiters and two coordinators, and helping to build regionally focused business plans, illustrating ways recruitment services could support overall company business plan.
