Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase & Co., Casper was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from 1991 to 1994. There he worked as a Corporate attorney in the General Counsel's office. Casper then moved to GE Capital from June 2014 to March 2017, where he was a Chief Data Officer at GE Capital. Casper's responsibilities at GE Capital included being a key player in GE Capital's efforts to complied with the requirements of being a Systemically Important Financial Institution (SIFI), and subsequently being a key player in pursuing de-designation as a SIFI. Additionally, Casper created a new Enterprise Data function, built Board level data reporting, and raised data quality for critical internal data consumers. Casper was also a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley from May 1994 to June 2014, where he was a Global Manager, FHC Program Management office. Casper's responsibilities at Morgan Stanley included managing Financial Holding Company Program Management Office reporting into the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, with the result of facilitating the effective execution of the firm’s most strategic initiatives, improved communications to the Board, and improved communications and relationships with Morgan Stanley’s regulators. In addition, Casper led the merger of the Institutional Equity Documentation function with the Fixed Income execution team to create, and then manage, the Institutional Securities Documentation group responsible for non-market risks associated with OTC derivatives. Finally, Casper held the position of Global Manager of Institutional Equity Division Documentation from 1994-1998. Casper is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in corporate and law enforcement law.
