B.S. from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2007.After an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2007, Rebecca Domke worked as a sales representative at American Realty Pros from June 2011 to January 2012. She then moved on to be a division manager at Staffing Now from January 2011 to February 2013. From there, she moved on to be a sales representative at Guaranteed Rate, where she was until February 2013.Rebecca Domke has been a teacher and coach at Medinah Christian School since August 2005. She teaches piano and voice and has been coaching students since she was a non-teacher in the fifth grade. Rebecca also is a charter member of the Dance Teacher Alliance.

Dr. Domke has focused her professional career on working as a mental health clinician and research scientist.Dr. Domke's training and experience as a mental health clinician has given her the unique perspective to understand the unique challenges faced by people who experience mental health difficulties. Her research Scholarship supported project on lived experiences within a large mental health cohort in the Greater Chicago area. The project aimed to understand the lived experiences of people who experience mental health difficulties, with a focus on understanding how these difficulties may impact their quality of life.Dr. Domke is currently pursing her PhD in Mental Health Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research focus lies within the field of mental health research, specifically in the area of measures of psychopathology and mental health interventions. She is also interested in the development and testing of mental health interventions that are relevant toat-risk populations.Overall, Dr. Domke has extensive experience as a mental health clinician and researcher whose work is focused on exploring mental health difficulties and their impact on individuals' quality of life. Her skills and experience have prepared her for a career in mental health research and development, in which she will have a valuable voice anddetermination in pushing for necessary change.
