From October 2014 to November 2015 (1 year 2 months) Greater Seattle AreaSoftware Development Engineer I @ - Designed and developed a payments related Android SDK for Kindle on Android. - Filed patent as the lead contributor for algorithms in the payments Android SDK - Designed a payment preference widget Android SDK, and drove implementation with the help of two other engineers. - Built a server that produces trial order totals allowing Amazon customers to view order totals before they buy an item, which is consumed by the retail website in every Amazon production marketplace. - Designed an expansion of my internship project for two other Amazon teams, and supervised its implementation with two interns. - Designed and built solution to enable debit card payments in Amazon Brazil. - Implemented migration project for Amazon's digital order decline email templates - Organized Digital Commerce Hackathon. - Conducted upwards of twenty interviews for technical candidates From March 2014 to October 2015 (1 year 8 months) Greater Seattle AreaSoftware Development Engineer Intern @ - Used Java, XML, Linux, and Amazon tools to lead a project from start to finish on Amazon Kindle’s Digital Commerce team (which handles all processing of digital transactions). - Designed and built a feature that sped up Digital Store launches from 2-3 weeks to under a half hour. - Developed and implemented a comprehensive test plan as part of complete ownership of the new feature.
