Executive Producer, Forbes CIO SummitsAfter spending more than 25 years in the management consulting industry, Peter High was President of Metis Strategy, a strategic management consulting firm. From February 1998 to February 2001, he was Manager at Luminant Worldwide, a leader in renewable energy technology. At Integral, Inc., he was a Manager from June 1995 to January 1998, and from December 1992 to January 1998 he was a Judge of the CIO 100 Awards. He has also contributed to CIO Insight, a business magazine founded in 1998.As Executive Producer at Forbes, High leads a team of journalists responsible for writing the Forbes CIO Summits, an annual gathering of the world’s top Management Consultants. Pete High has been a great swimmer since childhood. After leaving college, he started swimming competitively, first as a town rec league swimmer and then professionally. He won a silver medal at the Pan American Games in 1976 and continued to medal at major meets throughout his career. High became Vice President of the America’s Cup Committee in 2006, and his responsibilities included chairing the Technology andparts Committee.Highrotates through both the private and public sectors. He has a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
