As part of the mergers and acquisition team at EMC, I was invited by VMware’s Executive Vice President and General Manager to plan and develop technical solutions. As part of the acquisition, I was part of the east coast expansion and integration of partner technologies. EMC acquired VMware in 2004

I was asked to join EMC to be one of the first engineers to reside on site at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Wa. I started in EMC data manager group supporting and defining backup, recovery and data protection solutions. I managed senior level engineers on-site at Microsoft and Oracle Corporation with the objective to influence the development of new product features in the EMC product line.
My contributions in this role included:
► Led partner creation of published industry trade reference architecture for public domain.
► Received MVP of the Year Award for 2002.
► Managed and created roadmaps introducing new Symmetrix and CLARiiON offerings
► Advised engineering for integration programs such as Microsoft Systems Architecture
