Mr. Contino was a Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the South Manhattan Health Network (SMHN) which is a New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation affiliate that provides outpatient, specialty and hospital services to the South Manhattan area in New York City. Mr. Contino provided technical leadership for information systems, data security, network design, IT service management, and information technology initiatives. In his role as CIO, Mr. Contino helped to develop and improve the SMHN’s information technology infrastructure, technology planning and innovation, data security, network architecture and operations, application and database development, and IT security and compliance. Mr. Contino also drove gross Floridaprise growth and transformation and doubled the number of SMHN’s physician and staff in under five years.
