💼 Past Experience

Paul Becker left his final job in 2001, to become a National Security Fellow at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at The University of Massachusetts. There, he was responsible for all maritime intelligence and cryptologic operations during the USS John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group's Pacific and Middle Eastern combat deployment. He also directed the efforts of a volunteer group that connected with all 17 elements of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and provided policy input, strategic guidance and operational counsel to prepare new Directors National Intelligence, CIA and other Cabinet Secretaries for roles in the current administration.Then, in January 2017, Becker was appointed as Assistant Naval Attach to France at American Embassy in Paris. He then served as Strategic Planning and Talent Development for the Navy's Information Warfare Community, a $3 Billion enterprise with 600 military and civilian personnel in Washington, DC from August 2016 to January 2017. In this role, he was responsible for all maritime intelligence and cryptologic operations for the Navy's Information Warfare Community suffering from a lack of manpower and resources. He also Oversaw Maritime Intelligence and Cryptologic Operations from the Suez Canal to the Persian Gulf.Lastly, in October 2017, Becker was appointed as Director of Intelligence (J2) atChairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at The White House.
