By the time she was 19, she worked her way up to a mortgage sales position and worked tirelessly to build Real Estate Agent and community relationships. In the years to follow, Patty assumed a natural, often unofficial, role as orchestrator, catalyst and motivator for her sales teams and colleagues. In 1997, Patty led the operations unit of a start-up broker shop, growing it to be one of the nation’s largest broker shops until 2003 when she and her husband Rick Arvielo, decided to launch their own mortgage company – New American Funding.Her natural leadership and commitment to helping women has fueled New American Funding’s success. As a result, women make up 58% of all the company’s employees with many holding C-level positions.
