About Owen Wallis

📖 Summary

I used to make things, now I make things happen. Over the past 10 years I have managed three digital production studios. I've worked on apps, games, interactive films, touchscreens, live autopsies, virtual wind tunnels, intranets, extranets, webcasts, live events, flash sites, HTML5 sites, interactive nipples (feel free to ask me about this), interactive floors, museum exhibits, transactional sites, Facebook campaigns, Twitter games, backend builds, a haunted house, a penguin academy, three startups, and I've made one banner ad. I've experienced a range of jobs - from designer, to coder, to project manager. I can talk geek and I can talk to real people. My favourite thing in the world is diluting complex user, tech and business requirements into something brilliantly simple and elegant to use. I love creating the best possible user experiences that people want to use again and again. I'm able to take on a project from conception to delivery and beyond. My skills fall across Design, Programming, UX and Senior management.
