About Nicole Sahin
💼 Past Experience
Nicole Sahin earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 2003. She worked as a database administrator and, subsequently, software engineer. After a two-year absence from the business market, she rejoined the market in 2007 as an account executive at Intuit, where she processed and managed customer interactions. From 2009-2011, Sahin was the managing director of a software-enabled international business services firm, High Street Partners. There, she led a team of six women in the endeavor to found a school in rural Cambodia, the Sweet Life School. The school and its programs are specifically designed to empower women and girls through education. With a primary focus on girls in rural areas, the school provides an education to six07 elementary students per year, and gives children in a rural province the opportunity to leap the digital divide by using English and computer skills, using a computer and internet connection powered reliably by solar electricity. The school and its programs are specifically designed to empower women and girls through access to education and entrepreneurship.TheSweet Life School, which opened in March 27, 2012, was a project undertaken while on sabbatical from High Street Partners and before launching Globalization Partners. Sr director, ops & sales ( Various Roles) at High Street Partners, Inc. from October 2005 to October 2011 (6 years 1 month) in Silicon Valley & Southern California. High Street Partners (now Radius) was a software-enabled international business services firm that redefined the international business services sector by providing one point of contact to manage global HR, tax, accounting and payroll services. The sale in 2014 for ~$100m and merger into a new company, Radius. was absolutely wonderful, but ultimately I thought I had a more scalable strategy for globalizing business in mind, and was ready to strike out as an entrepreneur. I left High Street Partners and traveled the world to build GP's global employer of record platform.GP, which was founded one year after my departure, was CEO & Founder at Caribbean Retreat Outsourcing A/K/A Lotus Yoga Retreats, Inc. from October 2001 to June 2003 (1 year 9 months) in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.built & managed a company that enabled resort directors throughout the Caribbean to ‘outsource’ retreat planning while increasing resort occupancy rates and marketability. Via this venture, I realized that I am an entrepreneur at heart and love building businesses. I also learned that the island life was too slow paced for me. After wrapping up this business I went to business school in California. The tenure at High Street Partners was wonderful, but ultimately I thought I had a more scalable strategy for globalizing business in mind, and was ready to strike out as an entrepreneur.
