International @ Khan Academy. My primary responsibility is to help increase Khan Academy's overall impact by making our products ready for and specific to learners around the globe. My secondary responsibility is to high five as many people as possible in the process. In the past, I taught as a Fulbright Scholar in Turkey, helped grow a startup into an 70-person org, produced Spanish radio, researched phonological changes in the Big Brother UK house, and studied a lot of languages. I care about education, technology, benefits-of-the-doubt, international affairs, journalism, public radio, music, efficiency, languages, communication, work-life balance, empathy, exercise, and being surrounded by intellectually-stimulating people.
