📖 Summary
With a Ph.D and 5 years' postdoctoral experience, I have a strong academic background in science and research that I have enjoyed translating to the Medical Communications industry. I am passionate about both science and writing. My current medical writing has focused on ADHD and opioid dependency, and I have worked on a broad range of documents encompassing several different writing styles. My experience to date includes slide decks, speaker briefing documents, web site content, manuscripts, sponsorship documents, conference reports, posters and bag inserts. I am comfortable communicating with clinicians, attending international meetings, leading telephone conferences and working on congress exhibition booths. During my time as a Postdoctoral Researcher I wrote and published several papers in peer-reviewed journals including a first author Nature publication and two PNAS papers. In addition I have previously acted as a reviewer for several academic journals, so I have a solid understanding of the publication process.Medical Writer @ From September 2013 to Present (2 years 2 months) London, United KingdomMedical Writer @ Focusing on ADHD and opioid dependency, I worked on a broad range of documents encompassing several different writing styles.
