I worked on setting up a new security system on our service and worked with our customers to set up the simplest clients possible.

This job helped springboard me into software development as the process was highly manual. In a desire to make my work easier, I decided to learn how to program. After my first computer programming class, I was able to reproduce the work I did by hand by writing a simple Java program in about 5 dev hours worth of time.
Researched different types of globins and helped edit a scientific paper. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/prot.24590/abstract
