Malek Bekdache has a degree in Scenario Planning and Crisis Management from University of Oxford, and a degree in International Management from Cranfield University. Malek Bekdache has been working as a Country Manager for a British company for about two years. He then went on to receive his education in International Management from CEDEP where he studied Executive Development – Fontainebleau from January 2006 to January 2006. After completing his education, he then started work at CEDEP as an Executive Development – Fontainebleau agent.

Born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1973, Malek Bekdache graduated from the Lebanese schools of mechanics and agriculture in 1992. He then studied business administration and marketing at the Lebanese Business School and at the Harvard Business School in 1995. After working as an intern at various marketing firms in Europe and the United States, he joined L’Oréal in 2000. He rose through the ranks and became Managing Director, FMCG, in 2008. In this role, he led the company’s operations in the Supplementary Cosmetic Products, Fragrance and Essence industries, while also presiding over brands L’Oréal Paris and L’Oréal Lebanon.
