Class of 2009 majoring in English and Peace and Conflict StudiesMahmoud Mohamed Nasr's education began in 1995, when he earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from the Touro University of Brooklyn. Mahmoud then completed his studies in the classrooms of TSOB, receiving the General at TSOB in January 1999. During Mahmoud's time at TSOB, he was heavily involved in their human resources management program, and taught various classes in the Department of English and Peace and Conflict Studies. Mahmoud has been recently promoted to the rank of Professor in the Department of English and Peace and Conflict Studies at TSOB, and currently teaches various classes in that department.Since his time at TSOB, Mahmoudhas dedicated himself to educating students and practicing peace and conflict awareness. In fall of 2009, Mahmoud founded the International Peace and Conflict Studies Education Foundation, which provides scholarships and support to students in need of peace and conflict education. Mahmoud has held various workshops and tours across the United States to raise awareness of the importance of peaceful conflict resolution, and has spoken to families regarding the benefits of peaceful resolution in their own lives.
