Luis Maria Saez De Jauregui holds a degree in insurance from Universitat de Barcelona. After taking up a position in the sales and marketing team of an insurance company, he worked as a marketing consultant for a bank, eventually becoming its head of marketing. He then accompanied the bank's president to Spain, where he served as head of its Spanish branch. From 2003 to 2005, he held the same position at Allianz Popular, where he was responsible for the optimization of the company's distribution channels. From 2007 to 2014, he was the President of the Board of Directors at ASSA, responsible for the management and organization of the company's European operations. He also served as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Allianz Popular. From 2016 to 2017, he was the CEO of AXA EXCLUSIV. Saez De Jauregui is also a Council Member and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Association of European Insurance Companies (AEIC). In this role, he is responsible for the organization and development of AEIC's industry-wide activities. He also chairs the Deutsche Bank Advisors Group's (DBAG) subsidiary, Deutsche Bank SA. In this role, he is responsible for the management and development of DBAG's head of income protection, investment, risk management and European activities.
